At the Valdez City Pool, we have something to offer everyone! Join us for one of our open swims or sign-up for one of our swim lessons. We even offer pool rentals for your next special event! At the Valdez City Pool, you are sure to find something for you and your family to enjoy!

Drop-In Activities
Click below to find a description of our current drop-in activities, including open swims and water aerobics. To find dates and times for each activity, please view our current pool schedule.
Both pools are available during this time with 2-3 lanes dedicated to lap swim. A variety of aquatic exercise equipment and toys are available to swimmers.
This drop in class includes shallow and deep water routines. Equipment including aquatic dumbbells, paddles and step aerobic boards are available for extra resistance. The 60 minutes time slot is filled with 45-50 minutes of instruction, leaving a few additional minutes for individual exercise. Come have fun while getting a workout in!
Swim Lessons
Valdez PRCS is excited to announce the implementation of the Red Cross Learn to Swim curriculum. We currently offer the following swimming lesson levels, to read a description can be found our our swim lesson page.
- Preschool (ages 3-5)
- Beginner (ages 5-12)
- Advanced Beginner (ages 5-12)
